ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: Johannesburg - Linbro Park

SALARY: Basic Salary + guaranteed commission for the first 2 or 3 months of employment

JOB SUMMARY: Reditron provide product and support solutions to professional installers of electronic security products.  Professional installers service high end clients with large, complex application requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years’ experience in the sale of CCTV and or Access Control systems
• Matric
• Proven Track record in this environment
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Give guidance to clients on the most appropriate solution to satisfy their requirements
• Generate quotations to clients according to their needs
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure that return business is generated

FUNCTIONAL OUTPUTS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that financial targets are met or exceeded
• Actively canvass for sales prospects.
• Identify new customers with the result of increasing the current customer base
• Turn leads into sales and close deals quickly
• Ensure that a client’s needs are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are met and managed at all times
• Generate quotations accurately & to clients according to their needs
• Ensure that all quotations, invoices, lead sheets & pipelines are uploaded to the company CRM/Financial operating system
• Ensure that the correct discount structures are applied – consult your manager.
• Assume responsibility of the complete sales process from start to finish (this includes quotes, orders, invoices, deliveries, support & collection of funds).
• Request assistance from technical support / product specialists when needed.
• Attend all sales meetings and training sessions
• Ensure that consultants (specifiers) are fully au fait with our products, believe in them and have faith in our ability to support them
• Set up meetings with customers on a daily basis & keep your calendar up to date
• Grow, develop and promote the brand and Company
• Persuade clients to purchase the in-house brand as indicated by management.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers
• Deal with client queries and provide feedback timeously
• Give product demonstrations at customers’ sites or at the Company premises
• Ensure you have all product material required for the demonstration.
• Conduct site inspections whenever requested by client, as well as when technical assistance is required.
• Inform the client of the expected delivery date of stock items
