BRANCH TECHNICAL ADVISOR
LOCATION: Durban
SALARY: Basic Salary

JOB SUMMARY: Reditron has an opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Technical Advisor in our Durban branch to assist customers telephonically, face to face and on site with all technical queries and problems related to Reditron products.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 - 3 Years experience as an Installer or an Electronic Security Products Technical Specialist.
- Grade 12 is essential.
- Relevant Electronic or Technical Qualification.
- Understand the practical workings of electronics and security products.
- Computer literate.
- Good Technical housekeeping skills.
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license essential.
- Must be willing to travel.
PERSONAL SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated, focused, able to work independently & with the team.
- Demonstrate initiative and integrity.
- Confident personality.
- Assertive and pro-active.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assist customers with technical queries on all products sold by Reditron.
- Ensure targets are met monthly and reports are done timeously.
- Generate all necessary administration and reports.
- Provide ‘on-the-job’ coaching for Reditron staff in the branch.
- Check faulty goods prior to sending them in for repairs and complete the appropriate paperwork required.
- You will be required to assist at the trade counter as and when it becomes necessary.
